Description H.H. 2009-10-16 15:14:46 UTC
Version: 1.5.1 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2) "release 5", KDE:43 / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.23-0.1-pae

to reproduce:

1) choose a feed, that has long articles where you can scroll
2) configure it in advanced tab, that it should display the complete webpage on choosing an article
3) read one article and scroll to the bottom
4) choose another article from same feed: the page now is scrolled down somewhere, for example at the page footer.

This bug is now over a year old. Is akregator unmaintained?

For testing simply choose for example this feed:
http://www.spiegel.de/schlagzeilen/index.rss

(it works with others too, but these articles are all from one domain)

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
