Version:            (using KDE 4.3.2)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

I selected type "Folder View", selected "Align icons in a grid", then clicked Ok.

Then I arranged all the icons on the desktop manually.

When entering "Folder view settings" again and change almost any setting, alls the icons jump back to their original position, I assume depending on the sort order and row/column setting, when pressing Ok.
