Description Ritesh Raj Sarraf 2009-10-12 17:39:51 UTC
Version: 2.2.0 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-trunk-686

video files (avi files) are not being tagged. I take the video files and modify their tags and click ok. No error message is displayed. But the changes don't get reflected in the video files.
Comment 1 Ritesh Raj Sarraf 2009-10-12 18:19:09 UTC
Files of type .wmv (Windows Media Video) are being tagged.
Comment 2 Myriam Schweingruber 2009-10-12 20:26:09 UTC
Doesn't that depend of taglib or taglib-extras? Not sure support for avi files actually exists in there.
Comment 3 Justin Newman 2009-11-11 19:09:49 UTC
mp4 video tags are working for me
mkv files do not work
mpg files don't work (don't support tags though, right?)
avi doesn't work

That's for me in current GIT.
Comment 4 Justin Newman 2009-11-11 19:32:21 UTC
Oh, taglib version:

taglib-1.6.1-2.fc12.x86_64
taglib-extras-1.0.1-1.fc12.x86_64
Comment 5 Simon ESNEAULT 2009-12-02 20:39:59 UTC
Hi Justin,

IHMO amarok is not ready to handle video, or at least is not designed to change tag on the video file. So for now, I'm pushing this into the WONTFIX bug list, as it is not a priority feature for a music player :)

Thx
