If I try to overwrite a picture with a picture of the same name the "overwrite picture" dialog pops up showing both pictures side by side. This is a useful feature, but the dialog should not scale the pictures up to fit into the canvas if the pictures are smaller than the canvas. This applies mostly to moving icons and small pixmaps around -- e.g. when I'm overwriting one 16x16 icon with a 32x32 one then the scaled images look ugly and actually don't help me decide whether or not I want to overwrite the file.

Scaling down is totally another matter and should still be done.

I think that dialog is actually provided by kdelibs/kio

Works for me in KDE Frameworks 5.45!
