Description Marc Schoechlin 2009-10-08 11:37:48 UTC
Application that crashed: kmail
Version of the application: 1.12.2
KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.28-15-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.04

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Sure, the IMAP implementation of IBM domino server is a bit clunky, but kmail crashes after raising around 30 error messages.

It seems that there is currently no debug-package available for the kubuntu-launchpad packages - therefore i'm not able
to send you a complete debug-stacktrace.

This problem apperas after opening the tree beyond the ldap-server node:

The error messages look like this :
- "Fehler beim Erstellen der Datei Tivoli /TSM: No such file or directory"
- Die Datei „/home/mschoechlin/.kde/share/apps/kmail/imap/.1431899941.directory/.Public Folders.directory/.Info-Verteiler.directory/Tivoli / TSM“ kann nicht geöffnet werden: No such file or directory

All error messages describe folders which contain a slash in the foldername - it seems that you should think about creating
folder structures in filesystem with a improved algorithm.

Thanks

Unfortunately, the backtrace is not helpful.
If you can reproduce this bug, please install the debug package for kdepim and paste a better one.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
