Description gabimilito 2009-10-06 20:46:07 UTC
Version: 1.4.10 (using 3.5.10, Debian Package 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-0lenny2 (5.0.2))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-2-686

If you try to play another song of the song list when is already playing one song, sometimes alsa crashed, and appears that bug:
"Unavailable sound; output device is busy. xine parameters: "
and then it tries to change to another song from the song list, without any success.

To resolve the problem, you have to login as root and do a force restart to alsa:
# alsa force-reload
it kills the amarok process (and any other process that uses sound), and when you restart the amarok, and this is again well

Sorry, but Amarok 1.4 is not maintained anymore since quite some time. Check out Amatrok 2.2 :)
