For testing I generated a new user account (with KDE 4.2 I had one, too, but deleted it after some time).

I can't however, login to the account properly, as plasma-desktop crashes after startup before the desktop is shown.
Restarting it via KRunner produces further crashs (the desktop background is visible for a second, but plasma crashes before the task bar is drawn).

I can reproduce this with other new users, deleting plasmarc/plasma-appletsrc before login does nothing.
