Version: 3.3beta1 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), MS Visual Studio 2008 SP1) Compiler: cl.exe OS: Microsoft Windows (unknown) release 6.1 I'm trying to run Ktorrent in English, but no matter what language I choose in the Switch Application Language dialog, Ktorrent keeps insisting on using the language which reflects my regional date and time format in Windows (i.e. Swedish, in my case). Modifying the config files kdeglobals and ktorrentrc does nothing, nor does setting a fallback language. Changing the regional format to English solves the problem, but I can't use that as a permanent fix. For the record, Switch Application Language works fine in the other KDE applications I've tried.
It doesn't work in dolphin, kate and ktorrent. So it seems to me this is a kde problem on windows.
works for me using the same setup. Please tell exactly what you are doing. The dialog does not reflect the languages which are currently available, but those that would be possible (KDE has language translations for those). Maybe you are trying to use british english language (which is not the default language, default is american english). please explain a bit more.
I could reproduce that problem, no idea how to fix it though.
I can't reproduce the problem using ktorrent 4.3.1 and kde 4.10.2 . Is this report still relevant ?
