Description Bart Hanssens 2009-10-03 17:39:43 UTC
Version: 2.0.82 (using KDE 4.3.1)
Compiler: vc90
OS: MS Windows
Installed from: MS Windows

Windows 7, KWord 2.0.82: create a new document, add some text and go to File > Save As.

Click on the "save as type" drowp down list, it shows 4 list entries like this

ODT Document (*.odt)
ODT Document (*.odt)
ODT Document (*.odt)
ODT Template (*.ott)

Should only display the ODT Document once (unless this can be used to save to a particular ODF-version ?)

Similar issue with KSpread

Sounds like a bug in the MSWindows integration.
On Linux I see;
"OpenDocument Text"
"OpenDocument Text (Uncompressed XML Files"
"OpenDocument Text (Encrypted)"
"OpenDocument Text Template"
Comment 2 Bart Hanssens 2012-10-22 08:36:18 UTC
Still the case in Calligra. It seems to be OK on Linux, it may have something to do with parentheses not being parsed properly in the Windows file dialog's file extension list (on Linux, one can choose between "Open Document Text", "Open Document Text (encrypted)" and "Open Document (flat)")
