Description Birger 2009-10-03 15:51:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Hello!

The Plasmoid "SMS Widget" http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/SMS+Widget?content=104285 does not start correctly when I boot my Notebook. Inside the plasmoid it appears the error message

Dieses Objekt kann aus folgenden Grund nicht erzeugt werden:
ruby-script-Skript-Treiber kann nicht initialisiert werden.

In english: The ruby-script-driver cannot be initialized

Curiously, when I kill plasma-desktop (via str+esc) and then start it again it suddenly works properly. But when I reboot my Notebook the same error appears!

Any Idea? It's pretty annoying to restart plasma-desktop to get the plasmoid working every time I boot!

does this happen with any ruby script or just this one?
Comment 2 Birger 2009-10-03 21:28:59 UTC
Any other Plasmoid/Script works. How can I check if they need ruby?
Maybe you can tell me a Widget which need ruby-script and I try to install it.
