Description m.wege 2009-10-01 07:39:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

Kmail has an option to manually go in on/offline mode. But from what I have heard Kmail is also able to detect if there is no network. So Kmail should detect and react appropriately on these events. Meaning, I don't want any silly error messages, of a server that could not be found, rather a notification about this event and off course kmail going online again in event off having network again. Off course there should be an option that the user is asked if he wants to go online again. And off course there should be a common handling off notifications in this case. It would be bad if all applications that are aware off losing there network give a notification at the same time. Rather have one notification informing about which applications where affected.
