- Check your KDE4 packages.. you are not using KDE4.3 ...; or may be you have a mistmatch between kdelibs and kdebase versions. The error message (in the crash handler dialog) is from KDE4.2; we changed it on KDE4.3 Regards
I had used the instruction at http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/Upgrade to upgrade from KDE 4.1.3 to 4.3.1. I found some other instructions ( http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/KDE4#Factory_KDE_Project_.28KDE_4.3.29 ), followed them, and now things are working fine. I am no longer seeing the crashing problem. Thanks, Brooke
I'm glad it is working now. Closing as INVALID as this was not a KDE bug but an installation error. Thanks
