Description Toe Maus 2009-09-29 08:23:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

approx 90% of the time when I plug in or unplug my WM 6.1 smartphone with internet sharing, Plasma crashes. Once in a while, I will get a complete system lockup with no display and need to reboot dirty. Tried to backtrace, but got an error saying "Unable to create a valid backtrace." However, backtrace does come up (only a partial maybe?):

- Remove(and/or uninstall) the NetworkManager widget from your Desktop and use the standalone application "knetworkmanager4" (the NM widget is unstable and should not be used yet)
Regards
Comment 2 Toe Maus 2009-09-30 03:41:29 UTC
Everything works perfectly without it, I didnt know it was unstable and
shouldn't be used. It came installed by default with KDE4 so I figured I
had messed something up with my setup!

Thanks!
