Version: (using KDE 4.3.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Unspecified Linux i like the category features for address book contacts. i think its a good idea. I just wish I did not have to go through all of 'em to double check in which category they are. I'd like to have something visual which would tell me which ones is part of which category, and which one are not in any category. and I could just drag them around to new categories. just an idea. thanks. "it is a resend of an old wishlist request Nr 91982 that is still relevant."
Version: (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux (openSUSE 11.2) I second this request! I forgot whether KAddressbook used to support categories for contacts before Akonadi, but at least now this feature is missing, and would be much appreciated! (I got too many contacts, and categories would really help sifting through them ... ) If the drag-and-drop feature could be added, the better still!
Imho it would be the best to replace the "Adress books" column with a groups column.

As I am not using KAddressBook since a while now and after a request from Justin(2021/03/09) I will mark this bug as resolved. Thanks to all of You for supporting that one. Best regards from Germany.
