Version: (using KDE 4.3.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Nepomuk Configuration Module Version 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 163" In kde control center if you choose Advanced User Setting -> Desktop Search -> Strigi Index Folders, the folder list does not have a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the window making it impossible to reach sub-folders several levels down. See: http://www.3111skyline.com/download/openSUSE_bugs/kde4/screenshots/control-ctr-strigi-index-noHscroll.jpg It looks like you just need to add the control or check the code to find out why it isn't appearing.

SVN commit 1028695 by cfeck: Show horizontal scroll bar in folder selection list when required BUG: 208714 M +2 -0 nepomukserverkcm.cpp WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=1028695
There has been a regressing in KDE4.4. The 'exact' same problem exists. There is no way to navigate in the folder pane to select a directory to index that is 4+ directories down because there is no horizontal scroll bar and the window looks less that 100px wide. The same screenshot provided applies
I cannot confirm on today's trunk with Qt 4.6.2. Which Qt version and which style do you use? Does the issue also happen when you start "kcmshell4 kcm_nepomuk" in Konsole?
Seems fixed in 4.10 (where this has been rewritten)
