Version: 4.3.1 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-0.slh.3-sidux-686 Most of the events I create in my calendar are for a single person - me. Nonetheless in the item viewer in korganizer's sidebar all those events display the organizer (me) and the attendees (me) of that event. That's as well ridiculous as unnecessarily space consuming (and also drags away the attention from the important parts of the event information). More than 50% of the event information space is used for reminding me that person I organized an event for person me and produces a scrollbar where not needed. I also don't want to write an email to either the organizer or the attendee in this case - so please let me turn that information off or better don't show it by default in case I didn't change anything on the Attendees tab. For my feeling the Organizer/Attendees shouldn't be shown at all in the event when I didn't change anything in the Attendees tab on event creation because that's a definite sign that event creator, organizer and attendee are the same person. When I add attendees and don't touch the organizer part in the Attendess tab I'd expect to only see the attendees in the item viewer but not the organizer because the organizer must be me. And when I only change the organizer and don't touch the attendees information I'd expect just to see the organizer and not the attendees information in the item viewer because the attendee must be me. By the way: The General tab does show me the information "No attendees" when I create a new event, nontheless my name is shown as attendee in the created event.
That sounds reasonable, I second this wish. Also it should be possible to assign the role of the organiser to another person than oneself.
