My distribution lists appears twice in the list in the right pane in kaddressbook.

* After creating a distribution list, it appears once. 
* After restarting kontact (only safe way to make the list saved) it appears twice.
* If kontact is closed by the session manager, a newly created distribution list is lost.

Something nice happened: After switching to akonadi, deleting all resources and recreating them using akonadi bridge, I only get one instance of each distribution list today :-))

However something odd happened: Distribution list members from resources other than the resource holding the list can not be filtered using the category filter in the filter toolbar.

I used akonadi vcard file resources, too tired to delete them and try with "traditional" vcard file resources today.

But the issue of this bug appears to be fixed using akonadi vcard resources. If it stays away, i will close this issue within a few days.

Thank you for your efforts you put into this bug. kab3 has long been deprecated, and so I close its old reports. If this bug/wish is still valid for kab3's successor kaddressbook in any recent version (5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08.0 or later), please file a new bug against kaddressbook.
