Description dschaefer79 2009-09-25 17:08:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Compiler: 4.4.1
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I have 2 monitor one of the laptop and one normal monitor and an Intel Graphic card.
I can't configure the two to have on my laptop extended screen and on the principal monitor the desktop screen. And an other option to set the default screen on the laptop or the monitor for extended screen.

It would be great if we had a configuration utility like the one provided by nvidia.

I assume you are succesful with:

xrandr --output VGA1 --auto
xrandr --output VGA1 --right-of LVDS1

Otherwise check which display output names (VGA1, LVDS1, DVI1, HDMI1) apply to you by issuing "xrandr" without parameters
