Application that crashed: kget
Version of the application: 2.3.1
KDE Version: 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31-10-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)

What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was downloading an Iron Chef episode. Did not have time to download it completely, so i paused the download and closed down my computer. Today when i resumed the download kget crashed, and the file is incomplete.

Thanks for yor report, even if kget isn't compiled with debug symbols enabled, so it's not so easy for us to understand what happened from the backtrace.

Anyway, it is possible that this bug has already been fixed in trunk, since we changed lots of code. If you have the possibility to compile and install it from the current svn development repository, You could help us understanding if similar bugs still exist :)

Well, please test it with the KDE 4.4 version as Dario already told, if you're not able to do it, please add a proper backtrace.

This patch does likely not even be the fault of KGet...
