Description Neal Becker 2009-09-24 13:34:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When kmail wakes from sleep, with a new network connection, it has problems receiving mail, which is the subject of other BR. This is about problems _sending_ mail.

After waking, when a new mail is composed, sending will just hang. I can abort the send. Then I can goto outbox and do 'send queued messages'. This will work, except composer window, which is grayed out' will not close. Closing it will then kill kmail. Then I have to restart kmail. This is the only sequence that will work at all to recover from kmail waking up with a new network connection.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
