there is search twice, once in the 2nd hearder. Again lower. Please remove the duplicate and save some space.

I would like to take this up to discussion. Because these are actually 2 somehow different searches. The first brings you to the full search site, with many options to narrow down your search.
The box in the second header is actually a quick search, type something in, get the results. For the ones too lazy to fill out search.php ;)
And this is a rather convenient way for most sites on the web.

What about having the quick-search and a button next to it.
Then when the user clicks it she goes to the full-search-site and the results under it.

This uses the principle that in most cases the quick search will do, and the user will not know she wants the more advanced search until the quick search failed to provide the results wanted.
