Description FranJPR 2009-09-22 16:40:44 UTC
Version: 1.12.1 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When I send an email, the button Send Mail Via does not work, sending the email via the default outgoing account (as the Send button). To send and email via a different outgoing account, I have to go to the menu, select messages, and then option Send Mail Via.

Thanks,

can not reproduce. Works without problems.
Please find out if it never works for you, if you use special transport settings in your identities, if you use more than 1 identity, etc.
Can say really what can go wrong ...

It did not worked for me ever. I have defined only one identity, five receiving accounts and four sending accounts.

In the compose template, through the toolbar, I can select Message > Send Mail Via > and then select the account from the popup list of sending accounts.

However, if I try to send the email clicking the Send Mail Via button in the compose template, it works the same as the Send button. It does not allow to select any account and the email is sent through the default account.

Thanks,

This is how it should work.
If you want to send a mail via the "Send mail Via" tool button, then press and HOLD the mouse key down while on the button. After a second or so the popup will appear where you can select the outgoing account.

I do not believe it. Yes, HOLDING!!! the button. That's right, I am sorry.
