Remove the network manager plasmoid packages, as this widget is not stable yet and it causes a lot of crashes. Try using its standalone app counterpart "knetworkmanager4". Thanks

Comment 2 aharonha 2009-09-21 12:33:34 UTC
How do I remove network manager? I don't have access to system manager.
I tried "apt-get remove plasmoid-network-manager" but it wasn't removed! apt said it is not installed at all!
Comment 3 Dario Andres 2009-09-21 14:00:48 UTC
The package to remove is called "plasma-widget-network-manager". Thanks
