Description Colin 2009-09-19 04:51:04 UTC
Version: 2.1 Beta 2 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I had an ods spreadsheet created in OpenOffice.org.
It contains many formula with ranges.
When I loaded it in KSpread 2.1b2 several of the cells had reversed ranges (eg B79:B$78 ) and this causes SUM, COUNT etc to return 0.

I checked the original ods and found that OO.o had written the range in reverse.

I note that in OO.o if I enter a range in reverse it displays it forwards (e.g H96:H94 is displayed as H94:H96).

I would expect KSpread automatically to convert reverse ranges to forward ranges.

I now use LibreOffice rather than OpenOffice.
LibreOffice Calc saves the range in the correct order.

You can close this bug.
