Description homoludens 2009-09-17 02:08:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

It would be very convenient if Kontact's Akregator had a folder "Deactivated / Unused feeds" into which one could dump feeds that one isn't currently interested in (but might be again in the future).

The folder should be designed so that all feeds inside are excluded from the "Fetch all feeds" feature.

Currently, if one wants to exclude feeds, the only solution is to delete them, which is inconvenient.

Comment from the other report:
At me (opensuse) akregator is preconfigured with multiple message sources
that I do not want to be notified about. A possibility to disable a message
source temporarily (nothing downloaded) rather than just not being notified
(mark new messages as read) would be a good thing.

I want to add that if you happen to have a bunch of feeds from the same server (37 in my case), Akregator becomes quite annoying to use if that server is down. So, I would like to have such an option as well. Maybe as an option for folders in general?
