Description Alexander Breidenbroich 2009-09-15 10:33:14 UTC
Version: don't know (about Dialog doesnt show up), rpm name: kdebluetooth4-0.3-8.1.x86_64 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I'm using my SE C702 as remote for amarok over bluetooth.
For that, I use the build in remote application.
After I start the remote function, my phone ask me to pair the devices, I enter a pin, enter the pin on kde dialog too, and the remote app starts.
So far as normal (had worked fine in the past...). But now the "enter pin"- dialog from kdebluetooth comes again (remote isnt working at that point) and I have to enter the pin (or another) again - after that my phone will ask for this pin (this second pairing haven't happend in the past).
After that all is fine - remote working as expected, until I don't use the remote for some time - seems the connection gets shut down after some time of idle (this was also this way in past, so no problem). I i touch any remote button on the mobile, it will reconnect to the pc again - which worked fine in the past, but now brings up the pairing dialog again!

Hi!
Can you test if this still happens with kbluetooth 0.4? and what version of bluez are you using?

Thanks!
