Version: 1.0.0-beta5 (rev.: 1022091) (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-rc8-sidux-686 When doing a fuzzy search and double-clicking an image, it is shown full-screen and then disappears. Switching to the previous and then to the original one works.
Can't reproduce here. Does double clicking open the preview or the image editor for you? When you say it disappears, what is shown instead? This is only in fuzzy search view, not in album or tag view?
preview. Till now I only had this in the fuzzy search. Not always reproducable. Often when there are more than 20, 30 images. In the thumbnail bar above the image digikam seems to refresh all thumbnails, starting from the right, and just when this refreshing process starts the image disappears. Means the background is shown. Like if the image were transparent.
update: Only happens when double-clicking on the image. I assume if preferences are that a single click already opens the preview this won't happen. Doesn't happen either when pressing enter. Not only fuzzy search; also tag view (assumedly not only this). When doing it multiple times digikam doesn't refresh the thumbs anymore; problem still exists. So this may be unimportant.
I can not reproduce this either. What is your KDE click behavior? I set it from "single click" to "double click", but still I can not see the issue you describe. If you KDE click behavior is "single click", then it is clear why the image disappears: digiKam will open and immediately close the image again, because you double click it (first click => show, second click => hide again).
Same for me there. I cannot reproduce this dysfunction... I use code from trunk of course... Gilles Caulier
Click behaviour: Double click. It doesn't always happen, but sometimes. Can't tell when exactly. Simon
Still there in current svn.
Still reproducible with digiKam 1.0.0 ? Gilles Caulier
Having 1.2.0 now (SVN version). The Splash Screen is cool! Looks very elegant. I tried to reproduce, but did not succeed. Seems to be fixed :)
