KCharSelect is a great application and has seen many improvements for KDE 4. However it currently (as of 4.3.1) does not support the SMP or any of the other planes beyond the BMP. Many characters required for mathematicians, Egyptologists and other scripts for which there is no more space in the BMP are being encoded in the SMP (and other planes). For accessing these characters, one needs KCharSelect to support planes beyond the BMP.

Please implement this feature soon.
