Version: (using KDE 4.3.1) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs I use 2 panels in plasma - 1 on top, 1 on the bottom. Both are set to "autohide". If I switch an app to fullscreen (like Firefox e.g.) pointing to the top of the screen should show firefox menu. I can't reach it that way - only if i make the top bar smaller than width of screen and point to the "free" edges. I even can't click links in these area... This doesn't seem to cover the whole area of the top panel (i tried to make it very large) - seems only a few pixel from the top are blocked... I think this also happens with the bottom bar - if i switch to fullscreen in virtualbox there appears a menu too - sliding into the bottom of the screen - i also can't reach that menu by pointing to the bottom of screen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure a panel on top of screen & set it to autohide 2. Start Firefox (or any prog with fullscreen option, tested also with digikam) 3. press F11 (go fullscreen) 4. try to reach the firefox menu Also reported in suse bugzilla: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=532980
This is affecting me also. I have my main panel along the bottom of the screen, centered at about 80% and set to autohide. In full screen apps such as krdc and virtualbox sessions (both which connect / run windows sessions) I cannot click along the middle 80% of the screen along the bottom. It would appear the the plasma panel is grabbing the mouse clicks even though it it not on top...
I'm also affected by this issue, so that's why I'm here, to confirm this bug too. Exactly the same synptoms as the above mentioned, and I'm on KDE 4.3.2 and Kubuntu 9.10.
