Version: (using KDE 4.3.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Using Kubuntu 9.10 Alpha 5 and latest updates (KDE 4.3.1) I encountered this strange behaviour. Every time I enable or disable the built-in desktop effects (Shortcut [ALT]+[SHIFT]+[F12]), my KDE main panel grows in size, see http://yfrog.com/5hgrowingpanelsp . The screenshots were taken occasionally yesterday and today. I am using the proprietary fglrx driver, since, at the moment, none of the free display drivers are supporting "stable" 3D acceleration for my r6xx based ATI card. Having no coding knowledge myself, I am not shure, if this is a problem in plasma or if this results from the driver. I hope, I have given enough information. Ask, if there are still some questions.
Created attachment 36790 [details] Screenshots of my "growing panel" This is the same image I have posted on imageshack, just to have it here, too.
