- When do they stop showing ? After some minutes ? On some sessions ? After an update ?
Thanks
Comment 5 BRULE Herman 2009-09-04 16:01:28 UTC
- 4.3.1
- It stop work after some action in KDE, when I restart KDE all rework.
Comment 6 Dario Andres 2009-09-04 16:08:31 UTC
- Which kind of action ?
- Have you tried installing other icon theme and using it, to check if it also happens ?
Thanks
Comment 7 Dario Andres 2009-09-04 16:12:38 UTC
- Are you compiling sources or using the KDE packages of your distribution ? Thanks
Comment 8 BRULE Herman 2009-09-04 17:16:48 UTC
- I don't know after which action (after lot of)
- No, I have only use the default (oxygen)
- I use the official KDE packages of my distribution
Comment 9 Dario Andres 2009-09-04 17:22:11 UTC
(Offtopic: for future bug reports select 4.3.0/4.3.1 and choose your distribution instead of selecting "Compiled sources", thanks)

- What is your GNU/Linux distribution ?
- Can you try to install the tango icon theme, and select it to check if the icons also dissapear ?
- Is your kdesupport-icons/oxygen-icons package properly installed ?

Also, can you test this:
If you start, for example, Dolphin, at the first time, are the icons shown properly ? - Are they "corrupted" in the same session ? (without restarting dolphin) or do you have to close and start Dolphin again to notice the bug ?

For resume: After reply the icons themes rework on my laptop. But I have often this bug (~ each 5days) on all my computer, and it's random. No prpblem with gnome or KDE 3.5

Comment 12 BRULE Herman 2009-09-04 17:42:10 UTC
Now I have the system settings pannel with the icon of "Tangoish KDE" themes and other icons on oxygen after reboot! (before is 50% tangoish, 50% oxygen after juste apply the setting for choice oxygen icons)

- I keep my computer open, no bug if frenquently rebooted.
