Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) Compiler: gcc version 4.3.4 (Debian 4.3.4-2) I cannot be certain that this is what my implementation was built from OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages On the Newbies Linux Forum, which uses a somewhat dated version of Beehive forum software, when I enter a forum post and submit it, the display of my post is condensed into very narrow text - under twenty characters wide. Another rendering issue I have discovered with Konqueror 4.3.1 is that I can no longer select Google Mail messages - underlined links and selectable content cannot be selected. I can't be positive that this defect wasn't also in 4.3; the display issue mentioned above WAS an issue and has been an issue throughout KDE 4 development. I've tried to report it before; perhaps other defect numbers that I could not locate can be used for more information. In general, Konqueror 4.3.1 seems to be a step back in stability and functionality even compared to 4.3; not sure why.
http://newbieslinux.com/forum/index.php?webtag=DEFAULT&msg=652.9373 contains a specific page that was initially rendered incorrectly. Later when I revisit the site, it will render correctly. To reproduce the issue, you create a new reply to this thread. While inputting text, it looks fine, but when first reviewing what you have just posted, it renders in a narrow band, no more than 10-20 characters wide. Other Beehive based forums seem to exhibit the same behavior as well. The Desktop Linux Reviews Forum exhibits similar behavior.

Checked out Beehive, Yahoo Mail, and Gmail; all seem to behave as expected. I believe that this was the case some time ago; please close this defect. Thanks!
