Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) Compiler: gcc 4.3.3 OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Failure when attempting to login to Gallery2. Steps to reproduce: Select from menu Export -> Export to Gallery... Fill in the name, URL, username and password, check 'Use Gallery2' and click OK. A dialogue box pops up with the error "Failed to login into remote gallery. Gallery URL probably incorrect. Do you want to check your settings and try again?" I tried upgrading to the most recent version of Gallery2 (2.3). The version of the Kipi plugin is 0.5.0-1ubunt1~jaunty1~ppa1(jaunty). Didn't work with previous version 0.2.0-1ubuntu3(jaunty) either.
Try kipi-plugins 0.6.0 Gilles Caulier
I'm getting this error too. am using digikam 2:1.0.0~rc-1ubuntu1~karmic1, kipi-plugins 0.9.0-1ubuntu1~karmic1 and Gallery2 2.3

Just adding a note that digiKam export requires Gallery's "remote plugin" be enabled. After enabling this, export seems to work. Site Admin -> Plugins -> Remote Interfaces -> Remote

GalleryExport tool is not maintained since a while and Gallery project is dead. Use PiwigoExport tool instead. Gilles Caulier
