Description Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-09-03 12:18:05 UTC
Version: 1.2-alpha6 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-rc7allah

I think the default shortcut for switching tabs should be shift+left/right. Because it is the same one used in yakuake.. and since it does the same thing, should have the same shortcut.

Actually it's Yakuake and Konsole that use different tab switching shortcuts from all other KDE apps, because all other KDE apps use the Ctrl modifier for their tab switching shortcuts, which in a terminal emulator tends to be reserved for the apps running on the terminal. Meanwhile, Shift+Left/Right wouldn't work in Konversation, because the widget that has keyboard focus 99% of the time is the input bar, and Shift+Left/Right is used for text selection in any KDE text input widget.
