Description h.i.m 2009-09-03 02:58:47 UTC
Version: 1.11.4 (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.29.1phc

As you can see in the picture kmail tries to download "Mietvertrag" but hangs [1]
While "downloading" there is now access to the inbox of the "Elias Zimmermann"-account.
(NOTE: inbox=Posteingang). [2]
You could wait several hours or stop tranfering "Mietvertrag" manually.
If you stop the tranfer access to the inbox is possible again [3]

Happens to me too. I have kmail configured with two accounts to imap servers.

If I leave kmail running over night, I often find in the morning it will not check mail. It behaves as if there is no new mail, but really there is, just kmail is not actually checking the server.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
