It's not possible in dolphin's details view to rearrange the columns. I just wanted to do that and grabbed a column header with the mouse and tried to drag it to another place but instead the column stayed at its fixed place and the whole thing got sorted after the column where I released the mouse button... It's quite useful sometimes to have e.g. the mimetype right beside the file name and sometimes to have the size there or the owner, the time - depends on what you are doing and want to "quickcheck" with a glance (and for others maybe on what they are used to). This should be adjustable by the user - and wasn't that possible with konqueror in KDE3?
