Version: 1.3 (using 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.30-1-amd64 probably don't a problem of Dolphin, but i don't know where to put it elsewhere. I regularly open samba shares with dolphin (entering smb:// in the location bar). If i drag and drop a music/video file to an external (kde) application (such as vlc/smplayer) it don't play it. You see vlc trying to open: "smb://<share>/<file>" instead that it mount it locally and passing this path to the player, or something. Can and will this be fixed because it's really not intuitive to first mount it with smb4k.
I'm forwarding this to kdelibs; I'd consider this as a bug and not a wish, but I'm not sure myself here...
