Description Robin Appelman 2009-08-30 14:24:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

If you make an svg with a path that uses a gradient as fill, and copy it around, the gradients are rendered incorrect when viewing with with a kde application.

Well it's hard to describe but some pictures say more:
the svg (a random path copied a few times): http://metalwarp.com/crap/test.svg
the svg exported to png with inkscape (how it should look): http://metalwarp.com/crap/test.png
the svg viewed in dolphin: http://metalwarp.com/crap/test_kde.png

I noticed that this only occures when using paths with a gradient background and not when using objects.

The test.svg correctly renders the gradients for me in Gwenview.
KDE 4.3.4, OpenSuSE 11.2

Are you still having this issue?

No, it renders fine now (using 4.4 Beta 2).

It seems this bug can be closed

Closing.
