What I was doing when the application crashed:
I'm using OSS4 and KMix crashes consistently when i press volume down, which i've assigned to my Volume down key on my keyboard. The Mute button shows a popup with 0% in there (while i still hear music), Down crashes and up does nothing... Hope this helps. Running KDE trunk from today and I can try patches if you have a possible solution.
