was using the hacker chat style and sometimes had to select the other person's text to be able to see it, caused me WTF so looked around and saw that option to turn of custom RTF formatting for received message. Well that does help (i can see the text, on a black background ;) but something a bit more intelligent might be nice to have.. Either an option to selectively turn off RTF coloring (and not text decoration/weight/size attributes) or a detection which ensures that there's always some contrast between foreground font color and style induced background color, i.e. don't draw black text on black background...

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
