Description David Lee 2009-08-28 07:43:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

During a search, there should be a progress indicator (a bar or at least text) that shows the progress of the search. Right now, it only shows you the number of matches found on the bottom of the Full Search window with no indication of how many you've processed and how many you have left.

Hi,

This has been open for nearly three years. The current incarnation of Find Messages gives no indication at all of activity.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Comment 4 Kevin Clevenger 2012-08-19 15:39:31 UTC
Yes, kmail2 needs a progressbar or hit counter or some indication of ongoing search activity. Thanks!
Comment 5 Laurent Montel 2013-09-10 07:43:04 UTC
not possible with actual implementation.
