Description Syam 2009-08-28 04:30:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open your home directory in dolphin
2. Identify a test file that already exists
3. Split the view and open another target directory in the right pane
4. In the left pane, select the test file & press F2 to rename (I have inline rename enabled)
5. Type in the new name and hit enter
6. *DO NOT HIT 'REFRESH'*
7. The file is displayed with the new name in the left pane
8. Copy the file to the right pane by drag & drop (+Ctrl)
9. The new file is created with the old name!

If I hit Refresh after the rename operation, then the copy is correctly created with the new name.
It need not be a split view, dragging the file to another Dolphin window also has the same problem.

Moving (instead of copying) the file also works without problems. The destination file will have the new filename.
