Description flstcboy 2009-08-27 23:48:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Hi,

using a black background color for the chatwindow makes the text-cursor invisible because the cursor is black too. Correcting text in the chatwindows is horrible when the text-cursor is not visible.

For example, the Konsole-Application in KDE has got a simple feature for that, it can change the cursor's color automatically to the text-color, or you can choose a diffrent color.

Could you make the cursor visible for dark chat-windows ? :) A dark-chatwindow looks good in combination to a dark/black hacker-style.

Thanks for investigations.

Same issue tracked in bug 265224, so this seems duplicate.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
