Application that crashed: systemsettings
Version of the application: 1.0
KDE Version: 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.29.6-217.2.3.fc11.i686.PAE i686
Distribution: "Fedora release 11 (Leonidas)"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
im logging as a root and when i was modified the updates preferences, the program crash, im using fedora 11 leonidas, and kde 4.2. im think the problem is caused for be logged as root. also crash whit automatic install updates

Hmmm, thanks a lot for this information, KPackagekit is not supposed to run as root because Policykit normally refuses to work, but as this is a VERY bad practice we never tested it, please try running it as a normal user to see if it happens too.
