What I was doing when the application crashed:
I installed the webkit viewer engine for konqueror a while ago.
and I was experiencing some viewing issue right now with khtml. 
so I switch to webkit.
being happy with the result, I decided to look for the default setting.
went in file associations, text/html, second tab. viewer settings
and moved webkit to the top

clicked OK

konqueror crashed
