Description Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2009-08-26 03:10:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

Sometimes (in 70% of the cases) when I open a link that looks like http://bugs.kde.org (without having a "www." in front) Konqueror (and rekonq) prepend a "www." to the link (e.g. http://www.bugs.kde.org).
This causes the link to fail loading.

Since Konqueror and rekonq are affected by it, it has to be an general issue.
I put it under Konqueror as I'm not really sure which part of KDE manages such things... (Is it kio_http?)

Thank you

Thanks :-)
