Version:           0.70.90 (using KDE 4.3.0)

When a yahoo contact on my list changes his/her status, kopete shows he/she as offline, although he/she is still there and online. If i go offline (log out) and then become online again, the contact now shown as online, with his new status. So I have to change from online to offline and then online again to see who is online right now. It happens as soon as user changes his status to anything, busy, away, and even online but with a status, also any custom status. It seems it just happens to Yahoo. At least I have no problem with jabber (google talk account)

I can confirm this in Kubuntu 9.10 released today Version 0.80.2 Using KDE 4.3.2.

I can confirm this on Kubuntu 9.10 (KDE 4.3.2) and Gentoo (KDE 4.3.4)

Works for me in with the upcoming KDE 4.4 release. If this is still an issue after you've upgraded to KDE 4.4, please reopen this bug.
