Version: (using KDE 4.2.4) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Okular sets the print margins of documents wrong so that parts of the pages are cut off (concretely, the page to be printed seems to be shifted to the left and up, thereby cutting off parts on the left and on the top and leaving excessive whitespace on the right and bottom). The pdf documents print from from within other applications. Trying to adjust the printer's properties (format, print margins, etc.) apparently have NO impact on how pages are printed; they all turn out the same way (shifted and partly cut off, always the same sections). Here are some screenshots to illustrate (the page in question is page 5 from an introduction to OpenOffice-base, available here: http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/userguide3/0108GS3-GettingStartedWithBase.pdf): Original document (screenshot): http://www.imagebam.com/image/def4c246658290/ Print out (scanned -- sorry for the line in the middle, that's my scanner): http://www.imagebam.com/image/cf6d6a46658297/ The bug might possibly related to: Bug 192189 Bug 179804 Bug 196590
I've updated to KDE 4.3, and the problem seem to have been fixed now. Thanks!
