Description Dotan Cohen 2009-08-23 22:25:27 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Please add to Dolphin Send File and Send Link Address, both of which were available in Konqueror in KDE 3. Thanks.

I also like very much this features.
Comment 2 Peter Penz 2009-08-24 19:21:31 UTC
I agree to this wish, but this is not in the hand of Dolphin. All that is needed is a so called service menu (http://techbase.kde.org/index.php?title=Development/Tutorials/Creating_Konqueror_Service_Menus) that is provided by an application like e. g. KMail.

@Bugsquad-team: Should we forward this wish to KMail?

@Peter: probably yes :-)
Comment 4 Laurent Montel 2011-08-29 20:09:37 UTC
There is already a sendFile in kmail4.7.x
Comment 5 Dotan Cohen 2011-08-29 20:19:55 UTC
Thank you Laurent. Where is the sendFile feature documented so that I might write a service menu for it?

Is it simply this:?
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Service
ServiceTypes=KonqPopupMenu/Plugin
MimeType=image/png;image/jpeg;
Actions=sendFile
Comment 6 Laurent Montel 2011-08-29 20:21:55 UTC
It's already a konq plugins.
So not necessary to add an other konq plugins.
