Version: 2.1.1 (using KDE 4.3.0) Compiler: gcc (SUSE Linux) 4.4.1 [gcc-4_4-branch revision 149935] Also fails from distro RPMs OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs from KDE4 icon type or click Amarok 2.1.1. As normal the bootsplash comes up and retires. Amarok dies/blows up and the KDE Bug Report states "sig 11" not enough backtrace info. I have and can supply the gdb and strace information. I also have installed all debug information for 2.1.1 Please note that it did work at the first boot on openSuSE 11.2 Milestone 5. After a KDE update (zypper update) it fails. I have tried openSuSE's RPM and self compiled versions with the same results. Donn Washburn n5xwb@comcast.net
If you can reproduce this crash please see here on how to reproduce a valid backtrace: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
Closing for lack of feedback. Feel free to reopen it with a valid backtrace if you can reproduce it with Amarok 2.2, to be released in a few weeks.
